ARKA SCHOLARSHIP 2024 ANNOUNCEMENT

The NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT) is pleased to announce the Arka Scholarship Examination, 2024. The examination will be held on 15/09/2024, starting at 12 P.M, in Agartala. The Aptitude test is specially designed and conducted every year to challenge your abilities in General Knowledge, Science, and Mathematics, aligned with the Madhyamik standard. The total possible score is 100. Eligibility for the examination requires candidates to have achieved a minimum of 75 percent or higher in the Madhyamik Examination, or its equivalent under TBSE/CBSE/ICSE. Additionally, candidates must be currently enrolled in Class XI in Tripura, under any of the mentioned boards. Nine scholarships will be awarded among the test – qualified students, each with a value of Rs. 5,000/-, disbursed during the award ceremony. Three of these scholarships will be specially designated for the following categories: i) Top scoring Scheduled Tribe (ST) girl student, ii) Top scoring girl student, iii) Top scoring student from a rural school. Interested individuals can apply by submitting a plain paper application to the Secretary, NB Institute for Rural Technology (NBIRT), ARKANEER, Sekerkote, West Tripura, Pin-799130. Applications must be received no later than 5 P.M on the 31st of August- 2024. Applications should include the candidate's name and address, copies of their Madhyamik Mark sheet, proof of Class XI enrolment, name and address of their previous school (Class X), two stamp-size colour photographs, a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 5/- postage stamp, and a contact number. Applications can also be submitted via speed post to the aforementioned address, or directly through the school/institute (in which case, envelope and postage are not required). The final decision on selection will be made by the committee and is binding. The examination venue will be communicated later.
