NBIRT Arka Gurukul Celebrates Joint Rabindra–Nazrul Jayanti 2026 with Cultural Enthusiasm


Students showcase talent through recitations, songs, and dance performances to honor the timeless legacy of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam
The Joint Celebration of Rabindra–Nazrul Jayanti 2026 was organised by Arka Gurukul on 26th May 2026 at the Training Hall of NBIRT Arkaneer with great enthusiasm, cultural vibrancy, and heartfelt participation from students and organizers alike.
The programme was dedicated to commemorating the birth anniversaries of two of India’s greatest literary and cultural icons — Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. The celebration beautifully reflected their timeless ideals of humanity, creativity, harmony, and patriotism.
Students participated enthusiastically in various cultural performances, making the event both lively and memorable. Recitations of poems written by Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam added literary elegance and emotional depth to the programme. Melodious group songs and energetic group dance performances further enriched the atmosphere and captivated the audience.
Out of a total of 19 students, 18 students actively participated in the cultural event, demonstrating remarkable team spirit, confidence, dedication, and creativity. NBIRT highly appreciated their enthusiastic involvement and commendable sportsman spirit, which contributed immensely to the success of the celebration.
Capturing photographs was also an integral part of the programme, preserving the joyful and memorable moments of the occasion as cherished memories for the future.
The celebration concluded on a cheerful and inspiring note, leaving everyone enriched with the spirit of culture, literature, unity, and artistic expression. The programme successfully highlighted the enduring relevance of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam in inspiring generations through their literary and cultural contributions.
