REPORT ON SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS/BENEFICIARIES MEET

A Successful Entrepreneurs/Beneficiaries Meet was organised under the SUNIL Project, supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, at NBIRT, Arkaneer, Agartala, on 8 September, 2026.

The meeting was organised with the objective of bringing together successful entrepreneurs and beneficiaries associated with the project to facilitate interaction, review their experiences, and understand the progress and impact of the initiatives undertaken under the SUNIL Project. Dr. Richik Ghosh Thakur, Principal Investigator of the SUNIL Project along with other project staff interacted with the beneficiaries and discussed about various aspects of their products.

 The interaction also provided an opportunity for the beneficiaries to share their experiences, achievements, challenges and suggestions.

As per the attendance record, 11 entrepreneurs/beneficiaries participated in the meeting.

The meeting served as a useful platform for experience sharing, beneficiary interaction and assessment of entrepreneurial progress, while also strengthening the engagement between NBIRT and the entrepreneurs supported under the project.

The Successful Entrepreneurs/Beneficiaries Meet was conducted successfully with active participation from the beneficiaries. All of them have expressed their sincere satisfaction after the meeting, and after attaining remarkable success in the business of Bamboo Jewellery, they have requested the Institute to provide assistance on the business of Cane product manufacturing & business expansion.  The interaction highlighted the importance of continued institutional support, guidance and networking for strengthening entrepreneurial activities and ensuring the sustained impact of the SUNIL Project.
