Report on the Certificate distribution programme of Tailoring & the event of TCW awareness program along with relevant pictures and press releases

An Awareness Program on Stalking, organized in collaboration with the Tripura State Women Commission, was conducted to create awareness about stalking, cyberstalking, women's safety and the legal measures available for the protection of women. The programme also marked the official launch of the Commission's website, which aims to provide easier access to information, services, and grievance redressal mechanisms for women across the state.

The programme was attended by representatives from various government departments, educational institutions, Psychiatric Hospital, other social organizations, and members of the public. The distinguished speakers highlighted the growing concerns related to stalking in both physical and digital spaces and emphasized the importance of recognizing early warning signs, reporting incidents promptly, and supporting survivors without prejudice.

During the technical sessions, resource persons explained the legal provisions related to stalking under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and other relevant laws concerning women's safety and cybercrime. Participants were also informed about the role of the Tripura State Women Commission in addressing complaints, providing assistance to victims, and promoting gender equality through awareness initiatives.

A significant highlight of the event was the launch of the official website of the Tripura State Women Commission. The newly launched website is expected to serve as a user-friendly platform where women can access information about the Commission's activities, lodge complaints, learn about legal rights, and stay updated on various awareness programmes and welfare initiatives.

The interactive session allowed participants to engage with the experts by asking questions related to stalking, cyber safety, legal remedies, and the mechanisms available for reporting offences. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the organizers, resource persons, dignitaries, and participants for making the event successful.

The awareness programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial, strengthening public understanding of stalking-related issues while encouraging collective efforts towards ensuring a safer and more secure environment for women. The launch of the Commission's website further reinforced its commitment to improving accessibility, transparency, and support services for women in Tripura.
